   • • New Online Media Communications (Pty) Ltd and its affiliates (“eLearn Connection”, “we”, “us” and “our”) requests that you read this privacy policy statement before accessing or using the eLearn Connection website which can be accessed at elearnconnect.com / (the “website”).
     • eLearn Connection respects the privacy of individuals and juristic entities (collectively, “Persons”) and is committed to the protection of their personal information (as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013). This privacy policy statement sets out the way in which eLearn Connection will use, manage and protect your personal information.

   • If you proceed to access or use the website, by submitting your personal information (as identified in clause 4 below) as required to register as a user/customer/client of the website, you thereby consent to eLearn Connection collecting, storing and using your personal information for the purpose of course purchase and registration, and sharing it with third parties involved in supplying the service.
   • If you nominate a person or organisation as a third-party representing a group registration (for example, if you participate in a group registration through a nominated group leader) you must provide your consent to them to share your personal information with eLearn Connection for purposes of registering for a course.
   • A nominated third party representing members of a group registration, undertakes to eLearn Connection that it has the consent of all group participants to share personal information with eLearn Connection for purposes of registering for a course.
   • Consent to a nominated third party to provide your personal information is limited to name and surname, email address and identity number.
     
     
3. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
   • The website is not designed to collect and/or receive any personal information by itself and therefore eLearn Connection is not able to identify you personally unless you access the website and/or provide any personal information yourself or by your nominated third-party.
     
     
4. SCOPE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED
   • The personal information that eLearn Connection collects about you is limited to your company information, personal name and surname, your identity number and email address
   • The personal information that eLearn Connection collects about you includes your company information, personal name and surname, your ID number and/or your medical practioners number (for certificate issuing), address, telephone number and email address.
   • eLearn Connection collects personal information that you enter into data fields on the website when registering as a course user and/or purchase access to a course on the eLearn Connection learner management system.
     
     
5. HOW DOES ELEARN CONNECTION USE AND SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
   • eLearn Connection may use the information collected directly from you, for purposes of creating a user database in order to communicate to you in connection with the course information including course news and updates, and new educational training courses (“Purpose”).
   • Your personal information is only accessible to eLearn Connection, including its employees and third party service providers who are required to administer the website and/or database, and who are required to commit in writing, as part of their service to eLearn Connection, to maintain the confidentiality of your personal information.
     
     
6. HOW DOES ELEARN CONNECTION STORE INFORMATION
   • Whilst you are a registered user of the website, eLearn Connection shall retain all the information we gather about you and store it on a secure server.
   • Your personal information will be destroyed as soon as reasonably practical after you have notified eLearn Connection in writing that you wish to opt out of eLearn Connection courses.

   • eLearn Connection and its third-party server providers, will take and maintain adequate technical measures to secure your Personal Information from accidental loss and from unauthorised access, use, alteration, destruction or disclosure.
   • Notwithstanding the implementation of the aforesaid security measures, it is your personal responsibility to ensure that the device you are using is adequately secured and protected against malicious software. You are aware of the fact that without adequate security measures (e.g. secure web browser, up-to-date antivirus and malware protection software and personal firewall software) there is a risk that the information and passwords you use to protect access to your Personal Information, could be accessed by unauthorized third parties.
     
     
8. RIGHT TO ACCESS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION ON THE WEBSITE
